Thank god the school year is almost over. I'm as ready for the end as they are. As always I am going to be sad to see my seniors go. Overall, I had a pretty great group.
Prom is soon so that is what all the students are concerned with. I will be one of the chaperones for the evening. I think I will have an enjoyable time though. I know some of my colleagues are not exactly looking forward to it.

I was thinking if you had time, we could go out to dinner tonight. What do you think? Maybe a movie even, if you can fit that much fun in one night. ;)

I feel like I haven't slept in days. Then again creativity has never been known to show itself at the most convenient time. It's just been sparks, nothing concrete yet. But I'm sure it will come together eventually. I've been developing some of the characters and their history at least.
If it eventually works out well...I might see about submitting it to Amazon Studios. Someone just mentioned it to me. I've popped on to the website and poked around a bit.
Anyway, now that I've been up all night, I think I'm going to collapse in my bed for a couple of hours.

I just watched "The Vow". It was a great movie. A love like that is just so...so....inspiring.
And Rachel McAdams looked absolutely gorgeous in this movie. I think my favorite part was the wedding scene. I loved the vows that they wrote.
I think I'm going to head to Barnes and Noble right now to go get the book. I really want to read the book now.

I have to say, my weekend was really enjoyable. Saturday was great. Dinner and the movie "The Vow" at home.
I thought the movie was going to be better. I didn't dislike it. I just...I guess I envisioned something else when I watched the trailer. I know, I know. It's a true story. I guess I'm just accustomed to the perfect, happy ending.
With that being said, I think I'm going to buy the book. Books are always better than the movies. Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum had great chemistry though. And I felt so bad for his character. I couldn't imagine having to go through that.
And Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies out there!!!

It's been different being back in Chicago. It's been awhile since I've been here for a long period. I have to admit it is really nice being back by my family. I've kind of missed them. I'm still looking for a house, a place for Gianna and I, I've seen a few places but nothing I've really liked so far.
Anyway, it's time to start dinner and help G with her homework.

And it's back to Monday. I can't complain though because I had the best weekend. Hollie made a frame in school for me for Mother's Day. It was really cute. She painted it pink and glued gems all around the frame. It's currently sitting on my desk with me right now. I haven't wasted any time showing it off to anyone either.

I just got back from Chicago. I had two interviews there and I have to say I think they went pretty well. I guess I have to wait and see if I get a call to know how they really went. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
